No solution for me. I called Mitsubishi today regarding the white dot issue and they told me my tv is out of warranty and I wasn't even offered the $200 service repair. I wonder why you were offered the $200 deal? My tv is Model #WD 65734, purchased early 2008, which seems to be the same age...
