    Thanks so much for the input. If this switch is the answer then I connect the optical on the sound bar to the optical on the monoprice switch and I should get sound thru the bar for the tv?Didn't know there was such a product.

    Is there a sound bar that works with a Samsung (bought recently)model "series6 6003? I have a samsung Sound bar #HW-E450C and cannot get them connected. I have directv, bluray and a roku box. The tv is connection poor so bought a Hdmi switch box. Am I out of luck?
