I repaired the wire and plugged it in. Once I did the laptop turned itself back on as if being shocked to life. The battery was still full. My charging light appears to be the only remaining casualty.

I have an amazing msi laptop that runs like an absolute dream. It was playing a video while I was working on a project off in the distance. To my knowledge the low power warning never popped up on the screen. The laptop shuts down instantly. I walk over to find my dog chewing on the laptop end...
