You do a disservice to the readers by not mentioning free TV. I bought a HD Tv antenna for $40 and it gives me over 20 high definition stations including the major broadcasting ones. No ongoing monthly charges. Also, if you want a movie, rent it from Redbox for a couple bucks. Why waste hard...
