    Hi rgd1101. Thanks for your answer. Just to be sure (I'm a dane so the word "cache" doesn't mean a lot to me), but is it some kind of buffer then? If yes, I can just format the 24GB and it won't affect my laptop when installing the new ssd?

    Hello guys. I'm a bit confused about my Asus UX32VD laptop. I have bought a Samsung evo 850 ssd. The Asus got a 24GB ssd, which I don't really know contains. Does one of you know what I should do? Format it and use the extra GB or is there a better solution? Kind regards Kris
