So I need to buy a sound card with spdif in? What kind of program do I need? Although my headphones has an external dac thing that do the surround effect just by pressing a button -
5.1 or 7.1 audio from TV to PC
I I have a Sony TV (KD49-XD7005) connected to my PC via HDMI. Is there a way to get the 5.1 audio from the TV netflix app to my PC so I can use my Strix DSP virtual 7.1 surround headphones? Will getting a soundcard with SPDIF input work for this?
