    rms700/peak 1400w subwoofer using 1000w mono amp will it damage the sub?

    Assuming that the rms is the safetiest wattage of continuous playing of the mono that should supply so i need to avoid my volume higher than 700w? Or i mean not to maximize the power of 1000w of my mono?
