The head isn't stripped it's just stuck. the screw is a 5.2mm Phillips #00 and I have the right screw driver. Would using a drill help, and if so what do I do?
I was trying to replace the top panel (keyboard, trackpad) and the last screw is stuck. The screw is on the optical drive side of the macbook. It is the screw farthest from the optical drive, NOT the one closest to the optical drive. The screw on the right:

So when you got back on Win 7 the Energy Management wasn't working? You could try restoring the laptop to default settings to reset any changed settings you don't know about.
Ok, really sorry about this, I overlooked that the laptop has SLI 755 and 750. Really sorry about that. The laptop will probably last a good while there are better laptops but this one it pretty good, go for it. Sorry for the mixup, my bad :)
I say the first MSI and not the ASUS because all the ASUS laptop has on the MSI laptop is that it has more RAM. Right now 8GB of RAM is plenty to run all the new games and it will probably be this way for a while. The MSI has better preformance than the ASUS, so go with the MSI.
