Looking for a good laptop around $600-$700

I recently got into policy debate at my school and my laptop broke so I need a new one. My budget is $600 to $700 and I would like a thin, lightweight, at least 15", long battery life laptop. As far as hardware innards I have a desktop for gaming so I don't need great performance but I don't...

    14 inch vs 15 inch on 1366x768

It's just the size of the screen. $50 extra isn't that bad but it would weigh a little bit more, not much though. It really comes down to personal preference.

    Stuck Screw On Macbook (A1181)

I was trying to replace the top panel (keyboard, trackpad) and the last screw is stuck. The screw is on the optical drive side of the macbook. It is the screw farthest from the optical drive, NOT the one closest to the optical drive. The screw on the right: Thanks in advance :D

Lenovo laptop heating too much after upgrading to Windows 8.1 and switching on Secure Boot

So when you got back on Win 7 the Energy Management wasn't working? You could try restoring the laptop to default settings to reset any changed settings you don't know about.

    Laptop buying advice

Ok, really sorry about this, I overlooked that the laptop has SLI 755 and 750. Really sorry about that. The laptop will probably last a good while there are better laptops but this one it pretty good, go for it. Sorry for the mixup, my bad :)

[Need Suggestions] Looking to build/buy a 'gaming' laptop.

I say the first MSI and not the ASUS because all the ASUS laptop has on the MSI laptop is that it has more RAM. Right now 8GB of RAM is plenty to run all the new games and it will probably be this way for a while. The MSI has better preformance than the ASUS, so go with the MSI.
