Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did check the voltage and it is right around what it should be. Unfortunately, the laptop's out of warranty by a few years. A Google search on that model didn't give me anything helpful =(

Having a problem with the battery charging on my hp dv7-4285dx laptop. When I plug the charger in, the battery charges for maybe a minute or 2 then it cuts out altogether. If I unplug the charger and wait maybe an hour or so and plug it back in charging will begin again, but only for the brief...
