    Dell Inspiron 5100 will not Boot

    When I press the power button, the Num Lock light blinks, and system quickly powers off. Sometimes (increasingly rare) the Windows loading screen appears, but then the system quickly freezes long before boot ever completes. Anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong?
