How long can you wait for? the new gen GPU is fancy and real faster, however the GTX970M or 980M is good enough to play almost of game and these laptop just have good price right now.

I’d go for STRIX because of its 970M GPU and its spec/price. However, if you need a laptop for 3d modeling, you can also consider about the workstation comes with Quadro.

First of all, GTX 970m and 3GB is enough for 1080p display. Secondly, from the spec, R3 has better SSD space and Allienware is a good gaming laptop as well, however, if you are looking at thermal design, sound performance and gaming keyboard, the GE72 is absolutely better option.

This one is just great with its reasonable price and nice spec, if you just play light game, this machine will run smoothly. I like the free Gaming BackPack by the way.
