    Fixed the SSD problem by loading the latest BIOS. It all seems to work.

    I solved the memory problem - the DIMM wasn't fully seated. BIOS now shows 8GB of RAM.

    I've got an Ideapad 110 (Model 110-15ISK) tat I want to upgrade with more memory and a SSD drive. I've attempted to put in a new 4GB DIMM and a Samsung 860EVO 256GB SSD. Neither are recognized by the system. Do I need to change the BIOS - or what?
