    Solved! Kef Kube10b subwoofer humming

Test the Sub output of the AV Amp with another active speaker unit. You could also test with nothing else connected to the AV amp, other than one source - to eliminate another unit being the cause.

Asus g750jv don’t to turn on.

The battery MAY be playing up. This CAN cause the charger to react and think the battery is full when it is not, and thus the laptop will not power on. Sometimes, the voltage may not travel through to the laptop direct if the battery has become corrupted (for want of a better word) Get the...

Charge a 12v battery with a laptop charger

Not really, I presume you are talking about a car battery? The charger PSU will not be outputting enough current (amps) Even if it does work without over heating, it would take a long time to fully charge it.

I borrowed a Panasonic DMR/ES30V to dub vhs to dvd. Can I just plug in the machine and dub without attaching to a tv?

should be perfectly possible, but you need a screen to monitor the input / output, otherwise you have no idea that the video is actually being copied over, and if the input is of a decent quality. Also a good idea to monitor the audio levels too!

    HDMI to Scart

Why do you need an external recorder? The SKY Q box has a built in HDD either 1TB or 2TB. If this is headed in the direction of some form of copyright infringement, then i would warn you in a friendly way that members will not help you with this.

What makes the power go off when plugged

Possible that the battery needs replacing. Check the power adaptor is working correctly by getting it checked with a volt meter - easiest option. Also check the power input plug on the laptop is clear, and hasn't got anything stuck in it! Sounds silly, but it happens!

LG Smart TV to Sony Receiver - No Surround Sound

make sure what ever you are watching is actually encoded with 7.1 surround sound. Most normal tv programs are not broadcast in surround sound, only stereo which is why it will always be coming through just the front left and right channels. If you engage 7 channel stereo (or equiv) the stereo...

I put a screw driver into the usb port of my Asus laptopand suddenly my laptop turned off.when I try to turn it on the led ju

Yeah, it will probably have shorted out the USB controller on the motherboard. You wouldn't stick a screwdriver in your electricity socket, so why poke one in the USB socket of your laptop?? Not looking good.

Samsing KS700 ethernet and Sky Q issue

Just to make sure, when you swapped from WiFi to Ethernet, did you change the connection settings in the network menu of the TV? There is a wizard that should automatically detect your connection. Best bet is do it manually. Choose Ethernet, or wired, then let the TV fill out the address details...

Same deal vertical blue lines on Samsung. No warranty, any quick fix ideas?

Has the TV been exposed to ANY sort of moisture? Damp atmosphere? Try covering the TV in a cotton blanket over night. This can sometimes draw the moisture out. If there is a no to both of these, then see if anything happens when you press the screen BEZEL around the side of the effected area...

Can I watch over air and dish network on the same tv and will I have to search for over air channels every time

Not literally at the same time, but if your TV is new enough to support a dish input, then you can watch the Freesat channels. Connect a terrestrial aerial to the aerial port, and you can watch freeview channels. (the names of the providers are country dependent!) And the 'over air' digital...
