I got an Ecobee3 after finding Nest has issues with heat pumps getting stuck in cooling mode when you are heating. That is something Nest is working, but could not find if was fix. Ecobee now has IFTTT support. So far I like the thermostat. I have way more control than my old one. Ecobee is seems to be very community oriented and open to suggestions. I highly recommend this thermostat.
