    I would say it's for safety reasons only. IF something goes wrong you're better off having them separate.

    Yes, I know, but since I've never heard about it before (I made google searches also) I assumed that it's a software solution, and by changing to other software, he might be able to find another solution to his problem, correct?

    The ASUS Lamborghini VX3 seems pretty cool, but it's "a little expensive". :) You should probably go for that ACER laptop you found, it's probably a good one. I have worked on a company a few years ago though where the ACER laptops often had problems and that they were sent back for repairs...

    If you're interested in some reading and some heavy analysing, this is a great place to start. Personally I like laptops which utilizes AMD technology over Intel. ASUS laptops which utilizes the Radeon 3200 HD has pretty good gaming performance.

    And if it still doesn't work you can also install Mozilla Seamonkey until you are waiting for the stable version of Firefox 3.1 to be released.
