I just received my Yamaha RX-V483BL receiver as a replacement for my Bose unit as part of a home theater system. It's a lot "thicker" than the Bose unit, and it will not fit in the bottom of my cabinet sitting flat. I do have a side compartment that has enough room for it to sit up on its end...
