I assume that the OP's laptop has something like the Intel integrated graphics. Still, without knowing the full specs of the system, it's hard to even make any kind of suggestions. Typically the integrated graphics will automatically adjust to what it needs, but, we'd need to know more.

The symptoms are different, but that BOOT_DEVICE_UNACCESSIBLE makes me wonder if the hard drive (or SATA cable?) is starting to go. Is there another drive you can swap in and do a clean-install of Windows to try out?
