    If you have a lan port, try plugging it in, if it is, then try restarting you router, if that doesn't work, then call your internet provider. you could also ,if you aren't already, download it from steam.

    Like what CJb said, you should clean the port out. If the speakers work and they don't have a mic, then their might be a separate mic port and you would need a splitter/converter. Here is some generic one I found on amazon...

    I would say the Omen because it has higher cpu speed, other wise all the other specs are similar so it is based on personal preference.

    Sorry man but if it had power something probably shorted, as in power travel in the wrong directions through the water, meaning has become a really expensive paper weight.
