    Acer Chromebook- sound coming out of speakers rather than headphones

    I'm using an Acer Chromebook which I got last year- my sound works completely fine but when I plug in headphones the music plays from the speakers rather than from inside the headphones. My headphones work perfectly on any other device, but not my Chromebook :??:
