I needed to reinstall the CPU. Properly lock it into place.

I got the same result. Power is being transferred into the board. The battery charging light goes on. It's not a power issue. I did unplug the connection to the CMOS battery and even touched the terminals with a flathead screwdriver. Is there another cmos/bios check? Could it be a connector?

Hi. I just replaced the system board in my iBuyPower CZ 17 laptop and it won't boot, no bios or beeps. The lights at the speakers and mousepad flash when I press the power button. What could be wrong?
