    Sounds to me like your hard drive died. Unfortunately with mechanical hard drives in laptops they can be prone to this especially if they incur a sudden impact.

    I'm assuming that this is a notebook? If so I doubt you can upgrade it. Most likely it's soldered on to the motherboard. Unfortunately with laptops and notebooks in most cases the only way to upgrade is to buy a new one.

    Make sure you get the GTX 1060 6gb if you do and not the 3gb. I wouldn't wait personally I would get what I wanted now and enjoy it you never know how long you've got to wait.
