Thanks for the help! I did get it to work. Albeit it is slow, but i can edit RAW 2.5K on a measly i5 laptop. Since this is the case ill just get a basic workstation since i can edit it just fine on this computer. Thanks!

Nevermind i think i have it all figured out. Something about the clip was damaged so it wouldnt show up in anything not even that program you recomended Ken. BUT i was able to download another clip and although it wasnt raw it was a 2.5K proxy i guess that was put through proxy creation in after...

quicktime is definiyely installed..i wonder what else is the problem..

No i know the length of the clip what im saying is strange is that i cant open the file in Premiere or After Effects. Any ideas?

One more question, My machine cant run resolve, neither Lite nor the full version...is there anyway to convert the footage from the cinema camera or the pocket camera seeing as how i cant import test footage found online from the camera?

I do have many samples that i can show.They are low-budget, but entertaining. And do you think downscaled 2.5K footage would even run on my i5 toshiba? My guess is no which is pushing towards the pocket side but...i dont know Edit: I just downloaded a raw sample clip and it woldnt even open in...
