I recently was given a D620 from a friend that has Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS on it.. one problem it has is that the fan doesn't seem to be working and it just overheats. Whenever I turn the laptop on the fan would spin for a few seconds or so and then stop, the fan worked for a second and stopped...
