So I bought a laptop, but I"m not happy with it, so back it goes. Coming with Windows 8, it's assimilated my identity .. it has my email info.

For anyone that cares... the laptop arrived already.. and yup.. they screwed up the stats BIG TIME. Like on other sites (mentioned) it only has a GT 640M 2GB.
I honestly thought perhaps they'd changed it.. so pissed. I'm giving it a try.. so far I think I'm finding that it...

I'm sorry I couln't help earlier.. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you.
I've all but decided on the y580 from Canada computers, the mid range one.
How are you liking yours? How's the screen? Any regrets? What did you end up doing?
Unless you can find others vouching for Dell screen bevel quality.. stay far away.
