Solved! Is 4gb ram enough for Internet browsing , Office applications ( word , powerpoint ,excel ... ) , youtube

Due to the way that memory is addressed, a 64-bit O/S with 4GB RAM will have less 'room' than a 32-bit O/S with the same RAM. If you aren't going to go over 4GB, then a 32-bit version will yield more performance when having lots of open tasks at once. W10 is light-years better than previous...

Thoughts on refurbished Apple mac pro laptops?

Considering basic laptops new start at <£300 I'd be pretty miffed at spending £725 for a second-hand Apple... Looking at my 2 year old Asus RoG 17", i7, 16GB RAM, Samsung Evo SSD + 1TB HDD and GTX 860 - that was just over £1000 new. If you don't need a good GPU, there's all manner of gorgeous...

Question about 2 PC and PS4 Audio

Hope it works for you. Not that it will affect you, but I also find on very cheap and / or very expensive TVs that have a lot of latency due to poor electronics or lots of post processing, it's a quick way to be sure the sound and picture match up without having to mess with latency settings on...

Question about 2 PC and PS4 Audio

If your HDMI carries audio to your monitor, come off the headphone socket from that, so you need one feed to the amp that carries whatever is currently on the monitor. I do that for my TV, not audiophile, but perfectly good enough for crappy sourcess like a PC onboard / Sky / PS4 outputs.

    GTX 1070 for VR

The 1070 has the same VR-specific tech advances as the 1080, so it shares the same advances in VR - the 1080 is a huge step forward to the 980 in VR (more so than when using a monitor). The 1070 is a similar massive leap over the 970. I think you'll find the 1070 more than enough for...

    xbox 1 or ps4 ?

Console choice tends to go by social pressure rather than hardware, so in your case, probably XBox. Having said that, if you can I'd wait to see if the mid-life refresh details are firmed up and you can pick up the 1.5 or whatever it will be called.

    Headphones recomandation please

Bose QuietComfort 25 - best noise cancelling in the business, great sound and even work when the battery goes flat (30+ hours on a battery, sound quality not as good when battery has gone). Inline mic is pretty good and the (removable) cord can control playback / calls. I use mine most days...

    How to connect home cinema?

Correct. It's very useful depending on your setup, but not essential.

    How to connect home cinema?

Pretty much - HDMI carries audio and video, so you tend to have lots of things plugged into your cinema amp, with one output to the TV. One thing to look for is HDMI pass-through - basically it allows the signal to go through even when the amp is turned off, say for example when you don't need...

How to view Sony DSC-H400 bridge camera feed on external monitor?

I would expect that the laptop HDMI is output only? I would guess you would need to go to USB somehow to get your laptop to see it in real time.

    External laptop battery?

Just checking that the Dell doesn't have an expanded battery option? The Dell Latitudes that my corporation provides come with a larger battery that sticks out the back a bit, but lasts a very long time - I've had a (admittedly careful) 10 hour day out of them when I've gone to another site...

Cheap laptop for mid game and college stuff

I'd still go with the Pavilion and add some RAM to it - easier than upgrading a mobile GPU ;)
