    The problem is the dvd wont play at all unless set at 480p max,i recently read about a program in possibly maximum pc magizine that lets you output at higher settings.

    i am trying to play dvds on 1080i on my hdtv,it wont go over 480p,i have a ati 850 and nvidia 7900 video cards,i saw in a magazine that there is software that does but i dont have the magazine.thanks
