Yes it worked just fine after the bios update. I did this before I attempted the apu upgrade to make sure the bios took.

I researched if I could upgrade the apu in my laptop and found I could if the bios was updated to version f23. I had version f22. So I updated it and got an amd a10-5750m apu to replace my amd a8-4500m apu. I was assured it would be a compatible upgrade. Laptop won't boot, caps lock light...

As the Title says, does anyone kno if the APU can be upgraded to a Richland based APU, like the A10-5750m? Thanks
