I have had a couple of gaming laptops a MSI and ASUS and to be honest they work mediocre and they both broke on me within 4 months both of them. I first got an ASUS and it broke every 3 to 4 months because the port where you charge your battery would break and I would get replacement laptops...

You can go with micro tower cases that could fit in a bag and get yourself a smaller monitor and just wrap them up and put them in a bag that would easily work as a carry on. Here is a Lian Li case very expensive but just an idea to give dimensions...
