    Thank you for your prompt reply. I have Firefox, I have cleared all the cache but I have now installed Chronium and things are much better. It could be a problem with memory. I will monitor this new browser in the next few days and see how it goes.

    I have a similar problem with my Asus, but only when I open certain sites, in particular a news site. I have Linux as OS. Any idea what can it be? The only thing I can do is to switch it off, which is not good for a computer.
