I have Cree LED bulbs all over the house (from Home Depot - 6W/550lumen 2700K, 9W/800lumen 5000K, 9.5W/800lumen 2700K). They work like a charm, the color's nice, and they're relatively cheap and efficient.

I fooled myself with the Blue Screen of Death screensaver once (Microsoft TechNet). Only once I started holding the power button did I realize it... dang it!

If this doesn't have offline maps, I'm not updating to it. Hopefully this is just a temporary thing - it sounds like some things are missing from the redesign at the moment...

@warmon6 I think cell towers are generally designed to communicate with devices at a lower elevation (thus why they generally put the tower on a hill), and thus using the cell network while in a phone won't work at all. (except at lower elevations) I've tried briefly taking my phone out of...

The HTML5 video player gives you 1/2X, 1X, and 2X options as I recall. (the flash player doesn't though)

Didn't Microsoft pull this crap with proprietary currencies with the Zune store? What's wrong with using standard currency in the store at least? Google and Apple get it.

guardianangel42You guys are looking at this all wrong. If this went through, the Government would be the sole distributor of the internet. If this went through, ATT, Verizon, and all the rest would struggle to stay in business and quite possibly could fail to pay for the bandwidth they already...

I pay $30 for 5GB data, 100 minutes, and unlimited texting on T-Mobile. Kiss my ass Verizon. (it's $.10/minute beyond that)

Now if Microsoft would just let people run desktop apps in the first place, Windows RT would probably be doing a lot better. Who didn't see this coming, anyway?

Is there anyone out there that actually uses those versions of IE (or IE at all, for that matter) anymore? Even on XP? (yes, I know IE9 and 10 don't run on that)
