2014 Light Bulb Ban: Here Are Your Alternatives (Archive)

I have Cree LED bulbs all over the house (from Home Depot - 6W/550lumen 2700K, 9W/800lumen 5000K, 9.5W/800lumen 2700K). They work like a charm, the color's nice, and they're relatively cheap and efficient.

Google Ditches Latitude and Check-ins with New Maps App

guardianangel42You guys are looking at this all wrong. If this went through, the Government would be the sole distributor of the internet. If this went through, ATT, Verizon, and all the rest would struggle to stay in business and quite possibly could fail to pay for the bandwidth they already...

Windows Surface RT Jailbreak Tool Released

Now if Microsoft would just let people run desktop apps in the first place, Windows RT would probably be doing a lot better. Who didn't see this coming, anyway?

Microsoft Releases Fix for Critical Internet Explorer Flaw

Is there anyone out there that actually uses those versions of IE (or IE at all, for that matter) anymore? Even on XP? (yes, I know IE9 and 10 don't run on that)
