To make a long story short a friend of mine who has a Toshiba satellite laptop C50D fell for one of the Microsoft scams, let them into his computer then when he caught on, it was too late. His computer started acting weird and only reached out once he got to the stage it could no longer boot...

So basically there is no other way to connect the laptop to the all in one to use its monitor through an Ethernet cable or usb? Sorry to be such a pain.
