Personally I love Sennheisers. Even the $50 ones sound really good, especially if you like bass.

I'm not sure what that drive is.... but I suggest you don't mess around with it! Windows 7 and later do the defrag automatically when the computer is idle, so unless you are running other os, you don't need to do it.

Quadro GPU are designed for workstations, but I have been told that newer gaming GPUs like gtx 960m run autocad very well. Lots of engineering programs also require a fast processor and plenty of memory. I would look for a fast i7 and over 8Gb of RAM

The acid test is going to listen to them. It is the same with expensive Hi fi systems... it doesn't matter if other people like the sound or if magazines give them good reviews, it only matters if you like them..

Yes, it is good. memory makes almost no difference BTW, I hope you know that a gaming laptop is hugely inferior to a desktop for gaming. A laptop i7 is much slower than a desktop i7, and gtx 960m is very different to a gtx960 in a desktop
