Suggest a Laptop for me? Description within.

Well, i really dont know of any computers that have a 3 year factory warranty and there is no way to search for that, you will have to discuss that issue with them.

Suggest a Laptop for me? Description within.

My first recommendation would be this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232376 Im not sure how much raw cpu power you need for your programs, because this lacks an i7 but is way under budget, ram/hdd can be upgraded by yourself very easy.

Future Proof 2- in-1 laptop important features advice

A future proof computer does not exist. A good computer that will last a few years does, but those 2 in ones have very "weak" cpus etc. Its designed for power saving and not speed. I suggest getting a regular laptop but. To stay with a 2 in 1, a i7, an ssd and 8 gigs of ram is the best you will...

    Corsair 2100 USB 3.0 issue.

Windows 8.1 says they require a USB 2.0 port, but it says they will work with any USB port. Is there a way to get them to work with a USB 3.0 port? (My single usb 2.0 port is broke) Or just buy a 2.0 hub.

which laptop should I buy hp or dell?

The amount of GB on a graphics card does not have anything to do with performence, the higher the number, the better in general. Nvidia 740m/840m is the best in the price range. To add, i own an HP pavlion G6 with an i5 3210m and 7670m and this computer has been the biggest pile of shit ive owned.

which laptop should I buy hp or dell?

We are helping you, buying based on just brand is dumb. Like the guy said above, buy based on the specs first, and the check the brand. But for 700 dollars, your going to have trouble finding a good laptop for what you want. I cant give you a reccomendation on a specific laptop because they are...

    Laptop for Programming and Gaming

The 860m performs pretty close to the 770m and the laptop is 300 dollars less than a 770m asus, and is much more portable than a huge ROG laptop

Lenovo Y50 or Asus ROG G750JM? Need help deciding on a Gaming Laptop.

The asus is pretty big, it would be a pain to carry it around. The y50 is smaller and has the same hardware, so both would perform around the same. Its a choice between a larger laptop with most likely better cooling, or a smaller laptop with worse cooling, thou i expect neither will throttle.

    Laptop for Programming and Gaming

Lenevo y50 is the best for the price range, i7 and 860m and is quite small for what it packs.

Looking for a high quality laptop that supports light gaming

For your price range, a lenevo y50 will destroy whatever you throw at it for 1200 dollars and is still small and light enough to be transported.
