Im just got a remote the brand is onkyo rc-707m and none of the codes are working or thats what it seems like.

I cant turn my on...i can turn it on with a remote but i lost it and dont have any cash right now to buy a new remote...Im trying to turn it on by the power button on the tv but it wont let me...only a red light is on and not blinking...What can i do to fix my power button so i can use my tv...
