Audio crackle/popping with computer lag (ONLY when headphones plugged in?) Help Plz!:(

USB EDIT: Oh... also I'm thinking it might actually be a soundcard issue (maybe?) I noticed some crackling last night (without headphones plugged in) and a little lag spike today, will keep monitoring in the meantime, but it could be a possibility right? It is a 2008 (pre-dell) laptop lol

Audio crackle/popping with computer lag (ONLY when headphones plugged in?) Help Plz!:(

I know it's got to be something with the headphones (maybe a wire or the drivers?) but I cannot locate the problem. When I have headphones plugged in, it's a 50/50 chance they'll work fine, or they'll start to generate crackling/popping noise on my computer, and when the crackling gets worse I...

Help with computer lag, sound crackle/popping ?

For past 6months to a year now the computer is slowing down from time to time and the sound becomes all crackle-y and popping sounds, the computer lags at the same time during these moments, and at other times it's completely fine. All drives are up to date, still plenty of free space on the...

[Sovlved Myself Sorry] Want BOTH Speakers and headphones to work

Usually I've had the problem where speakers and headphones would play but was trying to figure out how to get them to only work for the headphones (that paticular case was the computer speakers though, not a plugged in set....) NOW I'm trying to get the opposite. I have the Logitech z-2300...

Considering buying an Alienware m17x r4

Best bet: Don't bother buying an Alienware (pre-dell takeover they were pretty good I suppose). But MAIN reason why I say not to buy an alienware mainly: PRICE. If you're going to blow $2,000-4,000 on a computer might as well purchase the parts from NewEgg or Amazon and build a desktop. Be a...

    [Help] Laptop Slows/Sound tears Randomly

Okay I'll get back to you sometime today, will test this out. But one thing I can tell you right now though is there's always a spot that's really hot, and loud fans (it's an Alienware...) and it does that since Day 1 when I bought it. But I'll check for airflow too, dust could be a problem I...

    [Help] Laptop Slows/Sound tears Randomly

Apologize if this is in wrong topic, I don't know what to categorize this as, but I need help figuring out a problem. Although I have a few ideas what it might be, what I DON'T know is how to solve them or where to go... Before on same Windows 7 install, I was having no problems, but I wanted a...
