pressing on spots doesnt work they stay their.... i will take it apart tonight when i get home and check the cables

Here about 3 days ago my laptop screen has gotten yellow lines going horizontally across the screen. looks almost like fuzz. they only go about half way but it is making some things very hard to see. it seems the only ways to get it to go away are to beat the crap out of the screen till it works...
