    Thanks but it didn't work any of the 3 times I tried that. I need to get a windows boot, repair and recovery disc or thumb drive. Probably a new power cord and charger, too. I've been warned both for and against doing this myself. Any thoughts?

    Laptop won't boot, start up, auto repair, etc. I've tried all the fixes here but nada. I stuck an old Windows recovery disc in and still nothing. HELP! Iam so frustrated.
