Thank you for helping. I will try the troubleshooting specs. Do you know where I can find a motherboard if that turns out to be the problem? I am having trouble locating one.

I have a Sony Vaio VPCEE41FX that is powering on,but there is no activity whatsoever. The screen is blank,no beeps,fan,or hard drive starting. The power tries to go out for a sec,but when I press the power button,the power comes back on. So I am wondering if the problem is a motherboard issue...
