Thanks. It boot half way then it got hang the harddisk never got disconnected. Does it only mess up the cpu or with the socket?

Hi I have a acer aspire v3-471g i upgrade my cpu from i5 to i7(it's other compter) and after i replace the cpu i left everything half close and try if it worked(done twice,first try i nver put the fan and it crush) and suddenly the hard disk drop out(it nver disconnect) and hanging the screen...
