If i were to factory reset my computer, would everything be completely erased from it? would things like passwords and other sensitive information be recoverable?

Should I still trust lenovo anyways? Or should I reformat the drive?

Hi so I recently purchased a lenovo y50 and just recently heard about the super fish issue. My question being should I still be concerned because of super fish, would my new machine have it? I purchased this computer on August 1st
