Yes...shouldn't have cut it. I'm a ex powerline worker - the high voltage stuff makes more sense it seems. Attempting to remove the plug from the other end ended up being fatal to my laptop. R.I.P I suppose the next gig will be finding out how to get my data off the old driver.
