I am looking at websites that run tests under different conditions (Wi-fi web surfing only, watching videos, full CPU use) to get a good idea of what to expect.

Hi, I am looking for a fairly light (less than 3.5 lbs or so), cheap (less than 500 dollars) notebook with a long battery life and the maximum computing power I can get with those constraints. I do not play video games, but I do want to watch movies without a hitch. Any suggestions ? Thanks much...
