    Take the back off and see if the cable from the battery to the mother board came undone.

    I currently have 2 HP Z Books G3. Both have expandable Ram. I'm looking at HP Z Book Power G9 15.6" --- i7-12700H -- 16GB Ram . The seller says he thinks the Ram isn't upgradable. I always thought a Z Book was a HP work horse. It's hard to believe the Ram isn't upgradable.
