At 55mph my UK Ford Fiesta Econetic diesel gets nearly 75MPG(US). Last week I managed a 120 mile round trip and got 72MPG. Around town I get about 55MPG. It was quite considerably cheaper than a Prius. Having previously driven a petrol car, I've not noticed much difference. It perhaps doesn't...
