Yeah it's charges fine from the normal charger and it is a standard USB one.

I have an MSI GT73 VR Titan Pro. It has a Thunderbolt 3 port on it. I am trying to charge my iPad 4 from this port but every time I plug the iPad says it's not charging. It is connected to the PC as iTunes syncs with it. I can charge my iPhone from it so there is power coming out of the port...
