Check if your case cover is dislodging any wires or connection when you are placing it on. My best guess is that you are not installing it properly. Some motherboards have a case lock function in which they can detect if the case has been opened. Try to enter your Bios and disable this function...

Yeah it is sexy. Do note that the laptop comes with a subwoofer and MaxxAudio installed. The audio has clarity that makes my friend's Asus sound cheap.
