Use gpu z first, if it shows crossfire available u stand a chance. (Otherwise u should stop). Send a pic of your gpuz spec on both your gpu if possible. Goodle amd 14.12 omega MODDED driver. Be sure to follow instructions and uninstall your old driver completely.

U probably use the wrong ram. The most common problem is that your laptop supposed to use ddr2 ram (as ur laptop is quite old) and u put ddr3 ram instead. Or u put ram which has higher/lower voltage than the system required, or simply your memory is defective... Does the old ram work?

What kinds of games are you playing? If u just playing light games like dota2 or wow or indie games then u don't have to take the one with r7 graphics. However if you are playing big titles like far cry 4, crysis series, watch dogs, assassin creeds or even the new coming gta v u will choose r7...
