    Which laptop to buy?

There isn't a lot of difference between the CPUs, 7700HQ is slightly faster. If you like the more "stealthy" look of GL702,go for it.Otherwise go with the cheaper model

laptop recommendation - Asus ROG STRIX GL502VM vs Lenovo Legion Y720

Both are great. The ASUS one has a better cooling system and slightly build quality.

Dell XPS 13 or Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe?

Both are great laptops. The Dell has a better build quality/display but aside from that, not much of a difference. You can't go wrong with either

After Effects, Adobe Laptop Dell - Mac - Eurocom (Sager, Clevo)

Between these, the Macbook will give you more battery life(if it's important for you) but if you'll mainly use Premiere instead of Apple's Final cut, then I recommend getting either of the windows laptops. Both are fine for your tasks

Gtx 960m ips screen vs 1050 TN screen

If it was the "Ti" version of 1050,I would've recommended getting it over 960 but the difference between 960 and 1050 isn't huge,so I'd say go with the 960/IPS screen combo

    Quad-Core i7-4720HQ up to 3.6GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M, 8GB RAM, 1TB

For that price,it's a great deal 960M can handle those games fine on mostly medium settings(depending on the resolution)

    xps 15 9560 (960m v 1050)

Yes 1050 is notably faster than 960M

Asus ROG G75VX - Worth Buying?

I don't recommend it. It was a good laptop back in it's day but now,it's a different story. Going with a PC is a better option IMO.You can get much better and newer hardware

Torn between 2 Acer laptops. Full HD or better processor?

I recommend the second one. For your usage, it's CPU will do just fine and yes the difference between the resolutions is a lot.

    Solved! Laptop and Upgradeability

As for the biodegradability, you can get a 1060 and upgrade to 1070 or 1080 later but as for other cards/CPU,your best bet is contacting Clevo/Sager and ask them directly. As for the screen, well since it's a laptop and has great specs I'll recommend going for 1440p/4K,the extra resolution comes...

looking for a photo editing laptop

Apps like PhotoShop actually benefit from quad core CPUs,it isn't a necessity but definitely helps if you're working with large images/lots of layers etc. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/1053
