Will a dead battery in a laptop make the screen stop working
Make sure your Brightness level is turned up, also I would recommend buying a new battery for your laptop.- mc_creeper

Laptop dead on but works on battery- power adapter fine
Your battery is depleted. Buy a new battery for your laptop model. Some laptops don't work unless a battery is installed.- mc_creeper
