    Make sure your Brightness level is turned up, also I would recommend buying a new battery for your laptop.

    Your battery is depleted. Buy a new battery for your laptop model. Some laptops don't work unless a battery is installed.

    Take it in for a service if its under warranty. Otherwise eject the battery and insert it again and see what happens when you try power it on.
