    For the processor no... HOWEVER the one with the i7 has 8GB of RAM which you will need for playing games. Also the screen res for both of those are really low. I'd look for at least 1600x900 if not 1920x1080. Thats just my opinion.

    The Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 looks the best by just looking at it too me. Good i7, Mid Level GT 740M, 1TB HDD. Looks like a good deal.

    Nvidia ShadowPlay Vs MSI Afterburner

    Shadowplay is for recording games and is for Nvidia cards only. Afterburner is the only one of the two that you can even use.
